Doug Barton

Doug Barton is a graduate of the Dallas Comedy House (DCH) improv and sketch training programs and has taken workshops with the Improvised Shakespeare troupeSusan MessingDave RazowskyJoe BillKyle Austin, and Timmy Mayse, to name a few. He was a founding member of Oh Snap!, a musical improv group. He is a member of the Family Friendly Comedy Show team which performs short form improv at 6:00 each Saturday at DCH as well as for hire for private parties. He currently performs with the long form troupe, CLR

Doug discovered DCH after having a beer with his friend, Bob, at the Angry Dog in Deep Elm. They walked over and saw Kyle and Drew perform and were so impressed with what they saw that they both decided to start taking classes at DCH the next week. Doug signed up for classes; Bob did not.

Doug has performed in several community theater plays, performed until recently with his band, Hello!, and has performed in a few video shorts (including “The Scientist” and "Sticky").
