How do I buy tickets/claim my reservation?
Advance Tickets: DCH offers advance tickets for all of our shows that are not free. Buying advance tickets usually saves you a couple of bucks, but more importantly, it guarantees you a seat, as our ticketing system will never over sell advance tickets. We have electronic check in for advance tickets, so no need to print out your voucher. Let’s save a tree!
Tickets at the Door: If you’d like to chance it, go for it. Live life on the edge! But we recommend arrive 30 minutes prior if you’re a chancer so you can snag what tickets are left at the door.
What time should I arrive for a show?
The doors open at 7PM every night, unless otherwise noted for special engagements. We typically begin seating anywhere from 15-30 minutes before showtime.
For popular shows we recommend customers arrive 30 minutes before showtime for good seats. Seating is general admission (first come, first served) so patrons first in line with advance tickets will have first choice of seating.
What if I have a large group attending shows?
If you’d like to reserve seating for your party, please call the theater at 214.741.4448 after you have purchased your advanced group tickets and we will do our best to accommodate your group.

Can I perform stand-up at the DCH Theatre?
Yes! We host an open mic night every Tuesday night at 8PM. You must submit your name to email@example.com by Sunday night at 11:59PM. Due to the high volume of submissions, we can not guarantee you will make the list every time you submit. The list is made on Monday and sent out to performers. Every comic is given 3-5 minutes, with the exception of touring celebrity comics. The open mic is co-hosted by Grant and Paulos. Buy them a drink, hosting open mic is a thankless job. Open mic is a chance to try new material and improve your current material. If you have a touring stand up show you’d like to submit, see submission info below.

DCH Theatre improv performers are trained in our long form Improvisation Training Center. Students are eligible to audition for various house teams after a certain level of improv has been completed. Auditions are held on an as-needed basis. Completion of our improv program does not guarantee placement on a team. Improv troupes can also submit to our KOTM show or Block Party.
